Chris Higgins

BS, RES, CS            

President : 24+ years of experience, registered environmental scientist, environmental remediation, bio remediation, environmental management, experience with various soil and groundwater remediation systems, experience with upstream petroleum facilities, oil/gas gathering and production facilities, management of underground storage tanks (UST) closures, environmental site assessments, Phase I/II reports, remediation of multi-phase hydrocarbons, assessment/evaluation of intrinsic bio remediation hydrocarbons and remedial system technical audits. Chris, his wife Kathy and their two children have been longtime Colorado residents. Chris is an avid outdoors man who's been known to shoot sporting clays every now and then, when he's not chasing the Colorado trout around with his fly rod. Another of Chris's passions are his German Wirehair Pointers Hunter and Abby.

Art Goguen

Director of Environmental Health and Safety Division : 30+ years of experience, safety and regulatory program development, management and employee safety training, ergonomics, EH&S program assessments, life safety reviews, regulatory audits, industrial hygiene, environmental management, construction safety, ISO 14001/OSHAS 18001 program development, behavioral safety, IAQ building diagnostics, air contaminate IAQ sampling evaluations, Infection control procedures, Infection control professional support services, environmental monitoring, bio aerosol sampling and technical interpretation and AIA, JCAHO, APIC, ASHRAE, NFPA compliance reviews. Art and his wife Suisei have been longtime residents of Colorado by way of Massachusetts. Art is an accomplished furniture carpenter who when he's not crafting a new set of custom cabinets can be found on the shooting range with his black powder rifle.

Gary VanDerSlice

Director of Environmental Assessments & Mitigation : 25+ years of experience, due diligence assessments; custom GIS development; expert in source water assessment and protection; remedial technology evaluation, design, and selection; Risk Assessment Methodology for water systems; LUST and Oil & Gas project management; Brownfields redevelopment; voluntary cleanup plans; RCRA, CERCLA, & NEPA projects; ArcGIS software; NPDES and Storm water permitting.

Mike Semonisck

BS, MS, C-AHERA-PD, CIM, CI/MP, CMI

Director of Asbestos & Mold programs, & Certified Asbestos Inspector/Management Planner : 24+ years of experience, construction safety, general industry safety, asbestos & mold surveys, management of asbestos, asbestos, lead, and mold abatement project design, industrial hygiene and indoor air quality assessments, construction safety. Mike came to Colorado from Missouri. In his spare time he rides his custom Harley Davidson motorcycle. Mike is also an avid skier and enjoys the Colorado back country.

Joe Nickels

Senior Industrial Hygienist : 29+ years of experience, industrial hygiene and safety program development, management and employee safety training, ergonomics evaluation and program development, OSHA inspections, NFPA life safety reviews, ISO certified lead auditor, ISO 14001/OHSAS 18001 program development, industrial hygiene monitoring, environmental management, health physics.

Charles Jensen

BS, PG RES,CGWS

Registered Geologist and Remediation Specialist : 19+ years of experience, site environmental management, geotechnical data interpretation, drilling supervision/remediation, remediation system design and implementation, regulatory agency communication, compliance monitoring, data acquisition, pilot studies on various remedial technologies, development of corrective action measures/closure plans. preparation of site work plans including site specific health and safety plans, summary and status reports.

Grant Leadem

BA, WDC

Environment and Biological specialist : 6+ years of experience, operation and maintenance of redial systems, coordination of monitoring systems, oversight and biological surveys and reporting on wetland delineation surveys. Grant is also a MA Candidate – Secondary Science Education at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

 

Michael Hartman

BS

Staff Geologist : 5+ years of experience, Michael has been involved in remediation technologies and environmental health and safety, he has also gained experience in petroleum remediation and emergency response, phase I and II environmental investigations, as well as asbestos and mold testing.  Originally from New England, Michael is an avid snowboarder and music aficionado.

Chemical & Environmental Engineer :  25+ years of experience, environmental engineering, environmental system design, subcontractor management, construction supervision, construction safety, systems installation and startup, operation and maintenance, environmental assessments, environmental remediation, certified wastewater plant operator, water/wastewater related projects, corrective action plans, voluntary cleanup action plans, risk management plans, Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, and Corrosion Control Plans, environmental Phase I & II Programs, Underground Storage Tank ( UST ) removals, and site investigations; AHERA building inspector certified.

Safety & Environmental Engineer, Professional Engineer (PE) : Management of technical/engineering projects, site characterizations, feasibility analyses, cost analyses, engineering design, preparation of plans and specifications, construction oversight, waste management, remediation system design, planning, operations and maintenance, construction safety, noise and illumination surveys.

Shelly Ford

BS, AIC, ACSG

Environmental Engineer : Asbestos inspections/audits, lead-based paint surveys, environmental hazardous materials management, groundwater/wastewater program development, personal and area air monitoring, indoor air quality assessments, client OSHA liaison, environmental Phase I site assessments, all phases of site assessment and remediation projects.

Tony Walker

Environmental Professional: Tony brings over 15 years of progressive experience in environmental project management, compliance and design. Tony has over 12 years of experience in the petroleum industry: exploration and production, unrefined product pipelines and storage, and refined product pipelines and terminals.
