Emergency Preparedness and Spill Prevention

Under EPA's Oil Pollution Prevention regulation (40 CFR 112), certain facilities must develop and implement Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure plans (SPCC Plans). In addition, oil and gas regulatory agencies have enacted rules requiring certain prevention techniques, timely response and timely reporting. Higgins assists oil and gas operators in developing plans that meet these requirements. In addition, Higgins works with oil and gas operators to provide around-the-clock support in the case of emergencies and releases.
